Funding application letter

For a university placement grant, hardship fund or emergency loan. Fill in the details and your letter builds itself below. Check your uni's own form first: some ask for their form instead of a letter.

Letter to your MP

Ask your local federal MP to back a Prac Payment that covers every social work student and is closer to a real wage. A short story in your own words is what makes a letter count.

Find your MP. Enter your postcode on the AEC electorate finder, then look up their email on the Parliament House members page.
Fill in the details. Add a sentence or two about what placement means for you.
Send it. Copy it into an email to your MP, or print and post it. Keep it polite and personal.
