Qualifications
A social worker holds a four-year bachelor degree or a two-year qualifying master's, accredited by the AASW, including at least 1,000 hours of supervised placement.
Plain note: the title "social worker" is not legally protected in Australia. Anyone can use it. That's one reason we campaign for registration.
