Story consent and moderation
Your consent
We only publish a story when its author has ticked the consent box on the share form. You choose whether to use your first name or stay anonymous.
Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw consent at any time, before or after publication. Use the contact form. We take a published story down within 2 working days.
De-identification checks
Before publishing, a reviewer checks that the story cannot identify a client or service user, a colleague, or a workplace in a harmful way. If it might, we'll suggest changes and check them with you.
The reviewer's checklist
- No client-identifying details.
- No personal attacks on named people.
- Consistent with our Interim Community Guidelines.
- The author has given consent and knows how to withdraw it.
Takedown
If anyone raises a concern about a published story, we review it and, if needed, take it down within 2 working days.
